The Spoils [Lou/Clarissa]
« on: March 26, 2019, 11:40:12 PM »
Lou had Clarissa clear the cellar in the basement of the tavern as she went saw to Jared's departure with Lina. She needed to have a sit down with the vampire sooner than later to bring her up to date with the developments with this opposing... Pack as it were. but she had other more pressing matters to see to right now... such as the information that the unconscious male had to share with her. She stood in the doorway to the back entrance, her weight on one foot, the other crossed at the ankle with her toe balancing her heel. This was more than what either she or Geoff assumed it was. The fact that Steven had shielded his pack from the very weight of her power was alarming... and was signs of a more concerted effort at play.

With the sound of her sister's footsteps on the stairs, she shrugged off her jacket, "Don't come up, I'll get him downstairs. If you haven't yet... get a chair and zipties." Her boots fell heavily on the debris littering the floor, but that didn't prevent her from reaching the unconscious wolf with ease. Glass crunched under foot near his prone form when she reached down to grab him by the front of his shirt and twisted him onto her back. He wasn't too heavy to carry, it was awkward being that he was more than a foot taller than she was and nearly as much wider. She straightened enough to see where she was going without dropping him and carried him to the basement with her elbows high in the air and fists over her shoulders. Her boots hitting the stairs were echoed by the heavy thump of his dock marten's falling on to the stair treads, which was a clue for her sister as to how she was getting the wolf downstairs. His body was unceremoniously dumped in the fold out chair before his wrists were bound to each other with zip ties behind his back, his ankles to each other... when Clarissa gave her that look she arched a brow, "What? It's a painful deterrent to have plastic act as a saw on your flesh." Lou stood up and handed back the zip ties before grabbing reinforced cables to bind the man to the chair. It wasn't perfect for a lycan restraint... but it would do.

Clarissa: =she gave a faint shrug at the retort about the plastic bit= "I know =she said as she perched on the top of the chair, watching him, rocking it back and forth a bit. She didn't say much after that , her nose wrinkled.= "He stinks. =was her other comment as she scratched her head with the muzzle of the gun. She knew she wouldn't shoot herself with it.= "This is new.=

Lou: Lou looked back at her sister and made a face at the way she used the barrel and turned back to the man seated before her. She rocked back onto her heels and came to her feet with her arms crossed, "What's new?" She asked, considering unconscious man before them.

Clarissa: =she pointed to the man they had tied to a chair= "This. Him. Whatever the hell it means. We gonna wake his a§§ up? Or just going to stare at him all evening? Although I think he might be playing possum. I can shoot him if you think it'll help." =she was of course, only half joking about that.= "I don't like him."

Lou: Lou arched a brow at the white haired woman and rolled her eyes, "Right Captain." She turned from her, "Don't shoot him." She said for good measure before heading upstairs. She returned in short order with a bucket that was sloshing with ice and water. She didn't care to ask him to wake up, there were other questions that they needed answered. She stood beside him and poured the bucked into his head and flipped the five gallon pail upside down to sit across from him beside Clarissa.

The man gasped and sputtered to alertness his green eyes flashing to the deep amber of his predatory wolf with an accompanying snarl. There was no fear in this wolf, and there was no fear in this man, only anger.

Lou smirked at the display without humour and her power rose quickly to choke his out, cutting off his access to this wolf and the accompanying benefits of the metaphysical force that came with it [Beast Revoke]. See... she'd done this with her sister in law before, and if left her bloody. Not many people knew what it meant to be human again. "It's a good thing we don't need to like him to ask him questions Rue. Go ahead, you lead the questions."

Clarissa: =she snorted= "yes Mother" =she said with just a hint of mockery. He was angry? Please. He didn't know the -meaning- of the word. She wasn't sure what he expected to come in to see. What he thought was going to hapen. And if he expected anyone to be afraid of him? That wasn't going to happen either. It didn't matter what his level was. The fact that Lou called her Rue was a bit weird, no one had done that in a while. But it was whatever. She felt Lou's power flare, and she didn't know what her sister did with it. And she didn't care. She gave the man a grin, and while it wasn't exactly friendly, obviously.. was it fully sane? Well she wasn't off her rocker. So there's that.= "No, we don't, do we? Now, I don't care what your name is. It means nothing to me. What I want to know, is what in the name of everything holy, did you think you were doing, busting up our place like that." =she gave him that grin again, perched on the top of the chair still, rocking a sound in her throat. Purring? Growling?= "We can start there hmm?"

Lou: It was funny how some words just stuck... She glanced over at her sister when she started off with the questions and all but ignored the man tied to the chair across from them.
He knew when he walked in that he outclassed the scarred woman when he walked into the establishment... but now, she looked different.. and the owner... the Lupa, he'd heard about her from Eddie and Steven, but he didn't think she was much to worry about -- that was until she did what ever she did. He strained, and his green eyes were wide and wild. He felt violated and very unbalanced. "I don't give two sh|ts what you want." He scoffed, glancing from one to the other with snarl on his lips, "Coming up all in here?" He mocked, "You idiots set up on our territory, you're lucky the whole place hasn't been blown to pieces yet." He sneered, "You're gonna regret every minute you spend with me girl. Steven might even let you live."

Clarissa: =she stared at him. Completely silent, no smile, just...stared. Then she started laughing. the only thing that was steady was the gun trained on the man. But she was laughing fit to burst. The chair rocked back, then forward in a bit of an explosion of movement. Was she going to jump at him? No. But she could tell from his eyes, and even if he wouldn't admit it, there was a bit of fear there...oh she could smell it. She hadn't seen it done, but she had heard. People tended to talk as if she wasn't around sometimes. She was ok with that. Mostly. From his actions, he had no beast to speak of..and even if he did, that was fine by her. She rocked back in the chair= "Look at you. Sneering. Talking about how lucky we are. You don't even know how you got down here do you? How you wound up tied to our chair." =she tsked= "Your Steven, he left you for dead. And as for whether or not he'd let me live?" =she laughed again, this time it wasn't full of mirth. No it was a darker sort of laugh= "I've faced worse than your Steven. Now." =she leaned forward again, the front legs hitting the floor with a crack, that echoed the gunshot as she shot him in the foot= "Let's try this again." =nice and calm she was. No hint of laughter about her now=

Lou: Lou sat with her shoulders squared above her knees where she leaned on her elbows, watching his reactions, seeing Clarissa from the corner of her eye, Clarissa might not want his name, but Lou did. She wanted so many details from this man, and there wasn't quite enough guidance in the questions. She didn't care why, she understood it; they might be plain wrong about what was going on, but that sentiment of expanding territory was something she understood in a visceral way.. it made this offence all the greater truthfully.
A smile spread on her lips when he threatened them. There was nothing she was going to regret about today. "Yes, again." She echoed the panwere and rose to her feet, feeling the swelling power within her... she'd not taken such a strong wolf before, but she was up for the task. This was easier because Lina was awake, she was sure of it. "How many follow Steven?"
Her question was met with silence. The wolf looked from Lou to Clarissa and with a brave smirk on his face. He was betrayed by the sweet smell of discomfort and uncertainty in his sweat: Lou knew, fear was a good motivator.. He felt stronger than his feelings, anxious wolves didn't make it as far as he did in a pack like Steven's. He didn't see Louisianna rise to her feet, she was fast, and his eyes sight was no longer so fast, and suddenly his food exploded in pain and he flew onto his back, still tied to the chair, his arms pinned beneath his body and the back rest of the chair. Pain exploded through his mind and his mind raced as he tried to wrap his mind around what exactly as happening to him.

Clarissa: =did she expect him to answer right away? Well no, she shot him. But if he didn't want anymore pain, he'd answer. Right? Isn't that how the torture thing worked? Well for the most part. And it surely helped that Lou was strong enough to do whatever she did to him, which made the pain possible. Even if it was a silver coated bullet anyway.= "So now there are two questions posted to you. What did you think you were doing, and how many follow Steven?" =the scent of blood, of fear, you'd think it would drive her to distraction. But it didn't. Not really. She enjoyed the scent of it, but it wasn't going to trigger her. She was beyond that. She didn't get off the chair, she remained perched on it, rocking it.= "Now, shall we give it another try? Or should I aim higher? What else would you like to lose?" =she looked at Lou from the corner of her eye as she was up by the man who was now on the ground.= "How much pain do you think you can take?"

Lou: Lou appreciated that Clarissa was unhinged today. She appreciated that she grated on the nerves. It was better to do this while uncomfortable. She crossed to the otherside of the groaning man and felt the twitches of his beast within her like a small animal kicking in a burlap bag.. but this was not small pup. She looked down at the man as he tried to roll to one side and propped her boot up on the leg of the chair to prevent him from tossing it over with his weight.
He looked up at her from his position on the ground and felt the aches in his joints. He strained against the bindings, knowing that he could have broken this chair easily under normal circumstances, but now, in this cellar... he couldn't. He tried not to let his mind wander with that thought... what if he was shot again? He tried to look over his shoulder at the white haired woman and felt his tongue thicken in his mouth, and the anger started pushing at his mind again, "We were going to take the b|tch home and send the old man a message about being in our territory." He snapped, straining against the cabling around his arms and chest.
Lou watched him try to worm his way around and came around behind him and lifted the back of his chair one handed. Once he was righted, she leaned into his shoulder and inhaled deeply, knowing that his heart rate was hammering a little harder, "How many." Her voice was soft, but that was not the same as weak. She wanted answers, and when he pursed his lips in defiance, her fist met his ear and whipped his head to the side. "If you are not ready to answer, she'll use it on you." She assured him, stepping out of Clarissa's line of sight, "How many?"

Clarissa: =she gave another feral sort of grin, almost cheshire cat-like when he finally gave more information. But she tutted and shook her head= "Now now. I'm the only one allowed to call him that. Not only were you left for dead, sonny jim, but you were led by the nose. This isn't your territory" =the lynx within prowled and rubbed against Lou, snapping at the man before them= "This. Is. Ours" =the last was said with more than a hint of a growl. He protested, that's for sure. Probably was going to wax poetical about it too. She made a small motion to get Lou to flip the chair back up again, so he could see her, and well see both of them.= "Tick tock goes the clock, speak speak or my gun will go bang bang." =no...she wasn't any crazier than usual. Lou would know that right? But she did put a bit of a sing songy croon to her voice, just to watch the man squirm= "knee? or balls? The choice is up to you. How well are you going to answer?" =the shoulder would be a good bet too but it would be too easy to get out of the bonds then she's sure. She didn't -need- to.. but she made a show of pulling the gun back to be all dramatic to put another round to the ready.= "One more time?"

The sense in the dark cellar was getting darker, it was heavier, and Lou was loosing patience with the clamshell response she was getting from the man.  If it were up to her, she'd have shot him by now, but for some reason, the panwere had the weapon which was limiting her options.  Granted, she could have gone upstairs to find an other firearm, but leaving without answers wasn't in the cards.   She waited with her hands behind her back for the wolf to divulge anything at all, and when he stayed stone silent at Clarissa's admonition her patience thinned.

There was no room for emotion in this situation, which was why she waited longer yet.  Her gaze turned to his own, meeting his eyes with deadpan seriousness that shone back with her wolf that he himself could no longer reach or feel.  Lou had that all to herself, and the flash of her beast in her eyes reinforced that reality.   She stalked closer to him, stopping before him with her arms crossed over her chest, Clarissa's view yet unimpeded... she trusted her sister not to shoot her if it came to it.  "One more time," She gave him incentive, the weight of her body pressing into the top of his foot where he had been shot by Clarissa earlier in the night. "Now."

He had no intention of sharing a thing.  He would die for Steven and the Red River.  He sneered at the women, shutting up when they spouted at the mouth with their nonsense... but again, he had no idea that someone could rob him of his wolf, and seeing her eyes flash at him, he knew instinctively that it was his wolf being flaunted at him through her small fµ¢k¡ng face.   He strained on the restraints and snarled, all man, no growl, but rage was it notwithstanding.  His eye was drawn to the woman holding the gun, and the suddenly the pain exploded in his foot and up his leg.  It caught him low in his belly. "fµ¢k you." He managed to get out before the pressure increased and the pain rose higher in his body.  He heard her speak to him through the pounding of his pulse in his ears, "The pain will get worse.  The damage won't heal.  You're as human as human comes." Her words chilled him, and suddenly the pain exploded in his foot again but it spread everywhere.  The aches from the fight, the pain from being shot, the bindings around his wrists and feet.  "Fifteen.  We're fifteen." He said through gritted teeth as he searched for his beast, wide eyes turning from one to the other as the reality of what the Lupa was saying sank in.

She narrowed his eyes and grabbed the hair at the nape of his neck and pulled his skull back, her face looming in his. "Where else does the Pack stay?"

=she let out a hum, whether it was out of enjoyment or boredom.. it was hard to say. She listened to him, tilting her head slightly.= "I'd say fµ¢k me yourself, you coward... but you aren't man enough." =she was growing bored with this, and his false bravado. He had to know he wasn't going to survive out of here, but the question was, just how much pain he could tolerate. Let's find out. The barking of the gun echoed in the cellar as she took out the knee on his other leg.= "Speak, boy."
